Thank you very much for your interest in registering as a Buyer at PATA Travel Mart 2017. Please study carefully the following information before submitting your online Buyer registration form;

Buyer qualification


All Buyer registration applications received at PATA are screened for approval by the PTM2017 Buyer Selection Committee. The qualifying process is based upon the following criteria:

  1. Experience in the tourist or travel business, particularly in the Asia Pacific region
  2. Be a senior decision maker or consultant, negotiator and influencer from your outbound department with high level responsibilities and have purchase authority to contract with our supplier and make budgetary decisions of purchasing on the show floor
  3. Organise outbound groups/events to multiple destinations.
  4. Purchase record in the Asia Pacific Region that shows continuous purchase of products or a strong intention to purchase
  5. Demonstrate that you regularly work with travel suppliers for Leisure or MICE products and services
  6. Buyers must attend all business appointments scheduled throughout the event. (entire 2 days of business sessions)

Remarks:     Evidence of buying history and potential business delivery must be provided upon request. Package A availability is limit to one delegate per Buyer organisation. Alternatively, a buyer may be endorsed by a minimum of three (3) Seller organisations

Registration received with full payment to PATA Headquarters by 30 June 2017 qualifies for listing in the Advance Guide. Early Registration for Package A is strongly encouraged as availability of air / hotel accommodations are limited .

Note:     Buyer applications are subject to screening by the PTM2017 Buyer Selection Committee. This is to ensure that only qualified buyers with bona-fide contracting responsibilities for the Asia Pacific region are registered for PTM2017. Buyer applicants from organisations with both inbound and outbound business in Asia Pacific are required to participate as a Seller organisation, contracting a minimum 9 square metres of booth space, PATA will then accept their Buyer registration application.
Your participation at PTM2016 does not automatically pre-select you and your organisation for PTM2017. If necessary, please check with PATA on the status of your application.

PATA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO APPROVE OR DECLINE ANY BUYER APPLICATION.


Registration packages


Primary Buyer: Package A, B and C


Package A: Buyer Registration includes:


  • Consideration for discounted or FOC air passage
  • FOUR nights complimentary accommodation in single room occupancy with breakfast for 1 px
        (from Tuesday 12 September 2017 to Saturday 16 September 2017)
  • All official PATA Travel Mart receptions and social functions as listed
  • Transfers to all business and official social functions
  • Airport transfers to / from Official Hotels
  • Local sight-seeing as offered
  • Registration materials and computerised pre-scheduled appointments
        (applicable only for Buyers who submit their Appointment Requests within deadline, 30 June 2017)

Package B: Buyer Registration includes:


  • FOUR nights complimentary accommodation in single room occupancy with breakfast for 1 px
        (from Tuesday 12 September 2017 to Saturday 16 September 2017)
  • All official PATA Travel Mart receptions and social functions as listed
  • Transfers to all business and official social functions
  • Airport transfers to / from Official Hotels
  • Local sight-seeing as offered
  • Registration materials and computerised pre-scheduled appointments
        (applicable only for Buyers who submit their Appointment Requests within deadline, 30 June 2017)

Package C: Buyer Registration includes:


  • All official PATA Travel Mart receptions and social functions as listed
  • Transfers to all business and official social functions
  • Airport transfers to/from official PTM hotels
  • Local sight-seeing as offered
  • Registration materials and computerised pre-scheduled appointments
        (applicable only for Buyers who submit their Appointment Requests within deadline, 30 June 2017)

  1. For membership privilege, PATA Members must list membership number in space provided (e.g. 001841).
  2. Verify the cost of your registration, taking into consideration any accompanying guest (spouse) fee, and applicable bank fee (Visa 3%, Master 5%, Wire/Cheque USD 35 per transaction).
  3. Additional nights and incidental charges, other than those indicated are the Buyer's responsibility to be paid directly to the hotel prior to your departure.

Secondary Buyer: Package B and C only


Sharing a business appointments calendar with the registered primary Buyer delegate and must represent the same Buyer organisation. Details of package B and C are the same as primary Buyer above, but do not have an individual business calendar.

Spouse/ Accompanying Guest


  • All official PATA Travel Mart receptions and social functions
  • Transfers to all business and official social functions
  • Airport transfers to/from official hotels
  • Accompanying Guests (Spouses) do NOT participate in the business session
  • Eligible for room sharing with primary buyer on DOUBLE room type only. If twin room type, cost of Extra bed will be added. Hotel breakfast is not inclusive for spouse/accompanying guest

Air transportation Terms & Conditions (only for Primary Buyer A)


  • PTM2017 Official Carrier/Supporting airlines(or Reimbursable return economy class air fare) will be announced in early March. All air passages are in Economy Class Only and there is no provision for upgrades.

  • Travel must originate and terminate in the same city served directly by PTM2017 official carrier/Supporting airlines. Flights operated by Code-share partner airlines and stopovers are not included in this offer.

  • Registered buyers must make their own travel arrangements between their home base and the city served by PTM2017 official carrier/Supporting airlines. Buyers must bear the cost of such travel arrangements

  • Subject of the availability to PATA's pre-qualification of buyers, air transport assistance is extended to buyers whose registration is received and confirmed with payment at PATA Headquarters in Bangkok only

  • Guest / Spouse accompanying registered buyers must make their own air travel arrangements. They may however take advantage of discounts offered by supporting airlines (a list of which may be made available upon request)

Important Note : Should your participation be cancelled after air ticket has been issued, I agree to return the ticket to PATA Bangkok's office within 2 weeks and pay for ticket cancellation charge of USD2,000.00.


Hotel Terms & Conditions


  1. PATA has reserved a limited number of rooms at the various official Mart hotels. Hotels will be assigned on a first come first served basis and upon approval of Selection Committee following receipt of the registration fees.

  2. Please indicate arrival and departure dates.

  3. PATA's official Housing Bureau will advise the Delegate of Hotel assignment with a confirmation letter after which no changes in hotel assignment is allowed.

  4. PATA's official Housing Bureau will advise the hotel of delegate's name and arrival / departure dates. Should your dates change,PLEASE CONTACT PATA IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR REVISED DATES.

  5. Additional room nights can be arranged for delegates. The room night rate will be requested from the hotel assigned to which the Buyer is directly responsible.

  6. PATA reserves the right to change accommodation dates to fall in line with air support conditions.

SECTION F : AIRPORT TRANSFER

Airport transfer services are provided for all registered delegates and registered accompanying guests / spouses only.
1. Arrival transfers from airport to PTM2017 Official Hotels will be available from Monday 11 to Wednesday 12 September 2017. And only if the arrival flight information is forwarded 48 hours prior to arrival schedule.
2. Shuttle services between hotels and exhibition venue will be provided. Please check with the hotel concierge or refer to the transport schedule available from the official Ground Transportation Operator on arrival.

6. AGREEMENT

BUYER DELEGATE REGISTRATION

TERMS & CONDITIONS



CANCELLATION POLICY : PATA must be notified in writing by fax or email of any cancellation.


CANCELLATION REFUND : For any cancellation received by PATA.


a)Up to and including 30 June 2017 the forfeited charge of 20% registration fees will be applied, with applicable bank processing fees or charges.

b)On 1 July 2017 or later 100% cancellation charge will be applied for any cases.


ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Applications for registration must be received by PATA no later than 30 August 2017. All registrations and changes after 1 September 2017 will be processed on-site in Macao SAR


NAME CHANGES: All name changes must be in writing and are subject to a US$  60 processing fee per change. Changes received after 1 September 2017 will be processed on-site.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


It is agreed that neither PATA nor any of its officers, directors, members or employees shall have any liability or responsibility for any personal injury, property damage or loss suffered by a delegate or any of his/her family members or other persons attending the PATA Travel Mart with the delegate resulting from the action or inaction of any person other than an employee of PATA. In the event of, or likelihood of, any circumstance which may create an extraordinary risk of injury or damage, PATA shall have the right in its sole discretion, to determine the course of action to be followed in respect to PATA Travel Mart 2017. In the event that PATA cancels or limits the Mart for reasons of safety, neither PATA nor any of its officers, directors, members or employees shall have any liability or responsibility in connection with such cancellation or limitation and their failure to perform any further obligations shall not constitute a breach of contract on the part of PATA to hold such Mart. This Application for registration, when signed by the buyer delegate, shall serve as an agreement between PATA and the buyer delegate, and shall indicate that the above terms and conditions of this Buyer Delegate Registration Application have been read and understood by the delegate. PATA reserves the right to consider as incomplete any Application for Registration submitted without company stamp and signature.


CAUTION


Registered Buyer delegates suspected of, or proven to be, selling their products to Seller or Buyer Delegates during, or in the lead up to, PATA Travel Mart 2017, will be blacklisted.


SECTION K: CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE


I AGREE THAT I WILL TAKE AN INDEPENDENT SET OF APPOINTMENTS WITH SELLERS AT THE PATA TRAVEL MART 2017. (Exclude Secondary Buyer Delegate).


The undersigned hereby agrees to the conditions of acceptance of PATA Travel Mart as outlined in these registration materials and set fourth promotional materials and further agree to abide by such additional rules and regulations of PATA Travel Mart as shall hereinafter be adopted.
